Ideal Security’s Standard Pneumatic Door Closer with added Wind Chain for storm doors or screen doors offers silent and secure closing to lightweight to medium weight aluminum, steel, or wood storm doors. Compatible with door thicknesses ranging from 7/8" to 1 ¼”, this pneumatic screen door closer is both easily installable and conveniently customizable to your preferences. The intuitive storm door closer bracket design and speed adjustment screw offer capabilities for adjustable, automatic door closer strength.

The Standard Door Closer can be used to replace existing door closers on your storm or screen door, or it can be installed as a new, first-time application. If you are replacing an existing unit, be sure to install it in the same location as the previous one. For first-time installations, you can position the storm door closer at the top, middle, or bottom of your storm door.

The added screen door chain provides added protection to your door against excessive winds, preventing it from swinging too far or too quickly.
