United States Shipping

  • All U.S. orders are shipped from our warehouse in Prescott, Ontario via UPS on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays before 12 PM (noon).

  • Please allow 3 to 5 business days for order processing.

  • Our warehouse is closed on Fridays.

If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with that information. Delivery dates are not guaranteed, as all shipments are handled by third-party carriers.

Shipping Options

Your order may be shipped using one of the following methods:

  • USPS: The United States Postal Service provides national and international mail and package delivery. Tracking is not available for USPS shipments.

  • UPS SurePost: UPS handles most of the delivery journey, with final delivery completed by the local USPS. This is a more economical option, but it may take longer than standard UPS services.

Note: UPS SurePost is not available in all areas. Tracking numbers are provided when available.


 

Canada Shipping

All Canadian orders are shipped the next business day, Monday through Thursday. Our warehouse is closed on Fridays. Orders are sent via Purolator Ground. Delivery dates are not guaranteed, as all shipments are handled by third-party carriers.


 

International Shipping

We ship only within Canada and the United States. For international shipments, please note that there are minimum order requirements, for more information, please contact us at [email protected].


 

Expedited Shipping 

For expedited shipping, please visit our Contact Us page, complete the form, and select “Expedited Shipping” under “How can we help you today?” A team member will follow up with available options.


 

Free Shipping 

Free shipping excludes Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the territories in Canada.

When a free shipping promotion is active, we reserve the right to refuse free shipping on certain orders. In such a case, we will contact you to advise and provide a shipping estimate. You will then have the choice to proceed with or cancel the order. We apologize for this potential inconvenience.


 

Replacement Parts

When Ideal Security authorizes free replacements in the United States or Canada, these are shipped via the United States Postal Service (for U.S. orders) or Canada Post (for Canadian orders). Tracking numbers are not available for these shipments.


 

Trade Shipping Charges Policy

(Retail & Wholesale Customers – Canada)
Transport paid by Ideal Security is limited to actual shipping charges from Prescott, Ontario to the customer’s business address. Any special or additional charges incurred for appointments, re-delivery, small truck, lift-gate, or tailgate unloading will be charged to the customer.

If you are aware of special receiving circumstances at your business, please contact our customer service team for a shipping quote or to make other arrangements.


Returns and refunds

You must contact us to request a return authorization within 30 days of your purchase.

Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect.

How To Return an Item

  1. Send an email to [email protected], and be sure to include your order or invoice number.

  2. We’ll provide you with an authorization number.

  3. Mail your returned item to one of our distribution centers. Make sure to include your authorization number and a copy of your original invoice or packing slip.

Warranty

All Ideal Security products are warranted to be free of labour and material defects for one year from the date of purchase. Defective products can be returned to the place of purchase with proof of purchase for replacement or repair.

If this product fails to work as warranted, the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy shall be repair or replacement according to the terms of this limited warranty. Ideal Security Inc. does not assume any responsibility for incidental or consequential damages.
