Decibel Replacement Cable
Designed for Decibel, the 100dB security solution for outdoor equipment, this replacement cable allows the Decibel to be easily wrapped to gear, equipment, and outdoor furniture for a layer of extra security. If the connected cable is even partially cut or the alarm box is tampered with, a 100dB alarm will sound, effectively deterring intruders.
Braided Steel Security
Decibel’s 6mm cables feature three core cables with seven braided steel wires encased in scratch-resistant PVC, offering both the flexibility to easily tie the cable around your belongings and the resistance to endure cutting of the cable. Each steel wire is directly tied to the Decibel’s alarm sensor. If the cable is partially cut, Decibel will immediately emit a 100dB alarm to deter intruders and warn nearby persons of an attempted theft.
Installation
To install the cable, unscrew the base screw, separate the Decibel housing, insert the three connector prongs, and secure them in place with the latch. The interchangeability allows different-sized cables to be used to secure smaller or larger pieces of equipment.
The package includes a Decibel cable; the Decibel Alarm Unit is sold separately as standalone or comes bundled with a cable in other listings.
