Ideal Security is a 3rd-generation family-owned company rooted in Montreal, Canada, since 1956. Founded by Jack Jospe, we began as a local manufacturer of storm and screen door hardware, growing to employ over 200 people and becoming one of only three North American manufacturers in the 1980s. 

We proudly remain innovators and distributors of high-quality hardware solutions rooted in storm and screen door hardware, garage door replacement hardware, window and sliding door hardware and home security. Over the decades, we’ve built a legacy of trust, resilience, and a commitment to bringing high-quality hardware to residential homes.
