CL-3 Closures
The CL-3 closure strip is a cross linked polyethylene joined in a plywood like lamination for strength and stability. The material is specifically designed to provide many years of weather resistance. Lightweight and easy to install with an applied adhesive bead available, CL-3 is the choice of the major building manufacturers.
Dual-Grip & Dual-Grip SLT Post Frame Fasteners
Ideal’s post frame fasteners are manufactured to superior quality standards to guarantee peak performance. The Dual-Grip is our standard post frame fastener. The twin lead thread with its distinct dual threads locks tightly in the wood for greater pull out resistance than ordinary single threads. The sharp self-piercing point penetrates the steel quickly and stays in place during installation to prevent “walking” on the metal sheet.
The Dual-Grip SLT is our premium designed fastener. The #10 fastener features a special cutting slot at the screw tip for fast, consistent drilling. The dual high and low threads provide superior pull out resistance in the wood substrate. The larger diameter increases the overall physical strength of the fastener adding to the physical strength of the joint and structure.
